Unearthed treasures from my food-obsessed past (2005-2013)
Step into my digital time capsule! These posts are culinary artifacts from my days as a wandering food blogger, capturing meals and moments from across the country when “influencer” wasn’t yet a career path and digital cameras were still revolutionary.
It all started in 2005 when I was criss-crossing America for work and needed a system to document my growing restaurant obsession. I built my own tracking software (tech nerd alert!) before discovering WordPress and migrating my food adventures there.
Many of these restaurants have since closed their doors, but the memories live on. Consider this section my gastronomic scrapbook — where my journey as an Eat Tech Dad truly began.
Browse through these vintage reviews for a taste of mid-2000s food culture and to witness the evolution of both my palate and my writing. The tech has changed, the dad part came later, but the eating? That’s been consistent throughout.
