Tonight, I had a nice company dinner at China Grill. When ever I enter a fine dining establishment such as China Grill, I set my expectations high. With the prices on the menu, there is allot to be expected. As with many Pan-Asian restaurants China Grill, is family style dining. To start with we decided on the Coriander Dusted Dumplings and Tempura Sashimi. The dumplings were good, nothing special but definitely good. The tempura sashimi was excellent, it is the first time I have ever eaten anything of the sort, and this dish hit the tastes buds spot! Moving on to the entrees we settled on the Wild Mushroom Profusion Pasta, Grilled Garlic Shrimp, Miso Glazed Black Cod and Vegetable Fried Rice. The service at this place was incredible; all the food must have come out within 10 to 15 minutes. Off all the dishes the one that really stuck out was the Grilled Garlic Shrimp, rest was average. Overall, I think China Grill will guarantee a good meal; I did enjoy the meal, but feel I have been to better places in the price range.
