Corner Bistro

Located in the West Village, Corner Bistro is a bar that has stood the test of time. When you step in you can tell this place has been around for many many years. I visited Corner Bistro for lunch, which has a very limited lunch menu. They basically have couple of interesting burgers, a chicken sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. I went with the Chili Burger, and no drinks, well it was lunch so no alcohol was allowed, dont worry I will make a trip back to the bar and update this entry. The food came out suprisingly quick, and I saw a plate of mush. It wasn’t really a burger we are used too, more of the an open plate sandwich. The bun laying on the plate with the burger in the middle, toped with chilli, knife and fork were the only way to go. My burger was medium as usual and was excellent. The burger plain was a little dry even at medium, but this is where the chili came in and gave it the juice i needed. The chili had a nice kick to it, which def. gives Wendy’s a run for their money! I will be back to try the Bistro Burger next time and hopefully a beer with it.
