Sea Thai Bistro

75 2nd Ave
New York, NY 10003-8640

Apparently this is the original, but I have to say this review will be biased. I have visited the Sea location in Brooklyn and it is one of my favorite places to dine out. I finally did decide to visit the original in Manhattan last night. I had eaten dinner already, so I went for a small late night meal. The food was excellent, just what I am use to of Sea. I had the Spring Rolls and Lettuce Rolls, yes both appetizers but made a great mini meal. I was not excited over the ambience, maybe I am spoiled by the location in Brooklyn, and I understand this one is in the East Village and does not have the space but it just was not the same experience to me. If you are in the East Village looking for a good place for Thai food, then check out Sea, otherwise I would say for ambience and great food make the QUCIK trip out the Brooklyn location.
